David I. Mizrahi
David Mizrahi advocates for employees in wage and hour disputes, focusing on cases involving unpaid wages and overtime. His dedication to securing fair compensation underpins his advocacy, as he provides effective and personalized legal representation to protect workers' rights. Passionately fighting for those in need, David has also represented children with learning disabilities and helped them achieve their educational goals.
Before becoming a lawyer, David owned an e-commerce company and eventually sold it. After selling his business and taking some time off, David decided to pursue a law degree. In his last year of law school, David was one of eight students from his law school accepted into the New York State Unified Court System's Pro Bono Scholars program. David graduated with the second highest GPA from his cohort and received an award at graduation due to this major accomplishment.
While in law school, David put in more than 160 hours at the school's clinic helping clients from both Nassau and Suffolk counties file for Chapter 7 bankruptcies, and helped both tenants and landlords in landlord-tenant matters. David also spent more than 500 hours working pro bono at the Nassau County Bar Association, spending a lot of that time at the Supreme Court in Mineola, NY, assisting homeowners going through foreclosure.
